The mission of Celerity is to create and operate high quality public charter schools in underserved communities, enabling all students to thrive when effective teachers present an engaging, data-driven curriculum to achieve high expectations. Our schools provide a rigorous, standards-based curriculum with an emphasis on project-based learning and technology, incorporating the Principles of Learning together with culturally relevant pedagogy to develop students’ intellectual, artistic, and physical talents. Celerity works as an agent of positive social change for both the families we serve and entire communities in improving educational options for all children.
Celerity has implemented and refined educational programs that have improved the academic performance of Latino, African-American and low income students and closed the achievement gap.
